I celebrated my 40th birthday at Ole's in Putney on Saturday, 1st
April. It turned out to be a hugely successful evening. Fabulous food, a
great venue and friendly service helped to make it the perfect venue for a
special night out.

There were 27 of us in all so we took over the basement area.  It felt like
a banquet! The food was fantastic - the layered aubergines and garlic and
chilli prawns in particular were firm favourites. We had a minor crisis with some birthday chocolate brownies a friend had made but the kitchen staff rescued them and transformed them into a scrumptious icecream desert, fabulous!

Many thanks to all the staff for helping to make the evening fun and
relaxed.  I'll definitely return as will many of my friends I'm sure.

I travel around the world and thus eat out very often, I decided to try Ole as it had good reviews - I was in there last night and all I can truly say that it was Fantastic. It was more like being a guest at a dinner party then a restaurant, the host was amazing he just made my party and me feel like we had gone to his house. He was very welcoming; the food was great and the service very relaxed and just right. It is the perfect place and will be a regular on my visits to London.

Absolutely Fantastic!! Went there for my partners birthday and we were not left disappointed. The food was stunning, especially the croquettes, patatas, chorizo and ganberi, the service without fault, the ambience just right and the cost, very reasonable. Would recommend without a doubt, its a hidden gem!

I have been a lover of Spanish food since beginning of time. I would like to think that I have been to many if not most of the Spanish restaurants and tapas bars in London. I have a few that are my favourite i.e.: Mason Bilbao for the Russian Salad, Cambio for its great Main course, Fino for décor, Goya in Pimlico for the old Spanish restaurant look. But my favorite for a complete meal experience has to be Ole - the food is tasty, the staff are friendly, the wines are fab and it has a fantastic relaxed atmosphere, you can go there and come out refreshed.

I love this place! It is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The food is fresh and innovative. Best quality ingredients used throughout consistently. But more importantly the red wine is incredible. The recommendations by our waiter were awesome....

I can confidently state that Ole has some of the best Spanish food I've tasted in London.
Portions are generous, quality of the meat and fish very high, and the menu diverse without being overly experimental. Try the Spanish omelettes; Ole's is light, fluffy and very tasty. Also worth a go is the delicious octopus on roast potatoes, or the extremely generous charcuterie plate, full of meaty, garlicky, salty cuts.

Clean and modern, the prices are extremely reasonable and the service always friendly and always good.

OK, so everyone has their favourite local tapas place and may not feel it's worth a trek across town to sample someone else's recommendation, but if you live even remotely nearby, then this is well worth a visit.
